Buying Baby Chicks From Us

Our goal when selling baby chicks is to make the process simple and convenient. Unlike many stores, we offer pre-orders so you can reserve the exact chicks you want without having to arrive early and hope they are still available.

Important: The date listed beside each breed on our website is the ship date. This is the date the chicks leave the hatchery. We typically receive them the following day.

Ordering is easy. Add the chicks you want to your cart and complete checkout. Once the chicks arrive, we will notify you and hold them for approximately 48 hours for pickup.


Chick Quality and Expectations

  • All chicks are sold as female unless otherwise noted
  • All chicks are vaccinated for Marek’s disease unless otherwise noted
  • Hatcheries guarantee about 90% sexing accuracy

This means there is a small chance you may receive a rooster.

Chicks are live animals and require proper care. We check them when they arrive and monitor for obvious health issues, but losses can still happen after purchase. This is a normal risk when raising poultry.

All chick sales are final. We do not offer refunds or returns on chicks for any reason.


Before You Pick Up

  • A warm brooder already set up at home (heat source running before you arrive)
  • Chick starter feed
  • Fresh water setup
  • Bedding (pine shavings are common)

FAQ

Is there a minimum chick purchase?
No. You can purchase as few or as many chicks as you would like.
Do you provide boxes for transport?
Yes. We provide boxes to safely transport your chicks home.
How long will you hold my chicks?
We will hold chicks for approximately 48 hours after arrival. Orders not picked up within 48 hours will be refunded unless prior arrangements have been approved.
What if I accidentally miss pickup?
Please contact us as soon as possible. If you need extra time, we can sometimes approve a longer hold in advance.
