Sunjoy Citrus is a barberry in glowing chartreuse-gold, holding its citrus color spring to frost on a tidy two-to-three-foot mound. It is nearly indestructible: heat, drought, poor soil, and city conditions all fine, and deer never browse it. Full sun keeps the gold electric. Note the thorns when siting it along paths; they are also why nothing eats it.
