Chastetree/ Monk's Pepper (Vitex agnus castus 'Agnus-Castus') - QT
SKU: 23005E
Chastetree is the late-summer answer for full sun: long spikes of violet-blue flowers from July on, mobbed by butterflies and every bee in the county, over aromatic gray-green foliage. It grows fast into a multi-trunk large shrub or small tree toward fifteen feet. Heat, drought, and poor soil are all fine. Cut it hard in early spring; it blooms on new wood.
