Baby Kim is the smallest of the Kim lilacs: a dense two-to-three-foot globe covered in purple, sweetly fragrant flower clusters in spring. The flowers do not fade as they age like most lilacs. It fits containers, low hedges, and the front of foundation beds. Full sun and drained soil; mildew-resistant foliage stays clean all summer. Deer usually pass it by.
